Aaj Ka Panchang, October 2, 2024: Both Krishna Amavasya and Krishna Pratipada are considered inauspicious for starting any new activity as they fall within the Ashubh Muhurta timings.
AAJ KA PANCHANG, OCTOBER 2, 2024: The Amavasya Tithi and Pratipada Tithi of Krishna Paksha will fall on October 2, according to Drik Panchang. Both Krishna Amavasya and Krishna Pratipada are considered inauspicious for starting any new activity as they fall within the Ashubh Muhurta. Additionally, events such as Sarva Pitru Amavasya, Mahalaya, Surya Grahan (Valayakara), Darsha Amavasya, Anvadhan and Ashwin Amavasya are scheduled to be observed on this day.
Before commencing any ceremony at home, devotees must check the tithis with auspicious and inauspicious timings of the day to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE AND MOONSET ON OCTOBER 2
On this day, the sun is expected to rise at 6:15 AM and set at 6:06 PM. While the moonrise time is not confirmed, it will set at 5:54 PM, the next day.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR OCTOBER 2
The Amavasya Tithi is expected to continue until 12:18 AM on October 3, following which it will change to Pratipada Tithi. The auspicious Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra is predicted to last until 12:23 PM, after which it will transition to another favourable Hasta Nakshatra. It is anticipated that the sun and the moon will be in Kanya Rashi.
SHUBH MUHURAT FOR OCTOBER 2
The Brahma Muhurta is expected to occur from 4:38 AM to 5:26 AM, followed by the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 5:02 AM to 6:15 AM, and the Vijaya muhurta from 2:09 PM to 2:56 PM. The Godhuli Muhurta is set to take place between 6:06 PM and 6:30 PM. The Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is timed to occur from 6:06 PM to 7:18 PM. The Nishita Muhurta is expected to take place between 11:46 PM and 12:35 AM on October 3.
ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR OCTOBER 2
The Yamaganda Muhurta is expected to occur between 7:44 AM and 9:12 AM, while the Gulikai Kalam Muhurta will be from 10:41 AM to 12:10 PM, Varjyam Muhurta from09:53 PM to 11:42 PMand the Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 12:10 PM to 1:39 PM. The Dur Muhurtam is predicted to take place from 11:46 AM to 12:34 PM. The Baana Muhurta is indicated to occur in Chora until 3:52 AM on October 3.
