Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has now released the academic calendar for the first semester of B.Tech./B.S courses in academic year 2020-21 after the interruption in studies due to the lockdown caused by Corona. According to the academic calendar released by the institute, the HSS course allotment for new admission will be done on 13 November this week. At the same time, the orientation program for these students will be held from 16 November. Also, the registration process will continue between November 12 and 23.

Online classes will start from November 18

According to the academic calendar released by IIT Kanpur, online classes will be started for BTech and BS first semester students from November 18. These online classes will be held till 26 February 2021. At the same time, mid-semester examinations will be conducted by the institute from 26 to 31 December 2020. While the end-semester exam will be conducted in online mode from 10 to 12 March. Apart from this, students’ mid-semester holidays will be from 1 to 5 January and end semester holidays from 9 to 23 March 2021.

Classes will be held in online mode only

According to the academic calendar of IIT Kanpur, classes for the students of BTech / BS first semester will be held 5 days a week. At the same time, on Saturday, classes will be held in the event of disruptions due to holiday. According to the academic calendar of the institute, all classes for BTech / BS first semester students will be conducted in online mode. During this time, classes will be organized for students through both pre-recorded or live lectures.
