Police on Wednesday arrested the main accused in the Love Jihad case in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. This was the first case registered in the state after the approval of the Governor against the Law against Religion Transformation Prohibition Act -2020 brought by the Yogi government.

According to the information, the Bareilly police have arrested a young man in the Love Jihad case in Bareilly. Actually, a farmer father had filed a case of love jihad on 28 November at Deorania police station in Bareilly. Since then, the accused youth was absconding from his home. Today the police arrested Deorania from the railway gate on the information of an informer. It is said that the young man wanted to run away where he could not get caught by the police.

This is the whole case
Bareilly police had registered the first FIR under the new law regarding forced conversion. Where a young man named Uwash Ahmed was accused of forcing him to convert religion by luring another student of another community. On the complaint of the victim’s father, police have filed a report and started investigating the allegations. Police had said at the time that Kisan, a resident of a village in Deorania area, had said in a complaint from police station that Uwash Ahmed son Rafiq Ahmed of the village had identified her daughter while studying.

He had alleged that Uwash Ahmed, under seduction and pressure, is pressurizing the student to convert to religion and he is constantly under pressure to fulfill his plan. The protests threaten to kill the student’s father and family and abuses them.

He also said that after taking seriously the complaint of the student’s father, a case was registered against the accused under the Uttar Pradesh Vidhir Vidhir Vidhir Vidhir Dharma Sansthan Sansthan Act and Section 504, 506 and started investigating the allegations. Have already done, the young man will be presented before the court.
