Popular character artist Bhairavi Vaidya, who was seen in films like Dangal and Taal, has passed away. The 67 year old actress was fighting a battle with cancer for the last several months. The actress died on October 8, however, now the news of her death has come to light after 5 days. The actress has worked with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai.
Apart from films, Bhairavi has also been a well-known name in the TV industry. She was last seen in Nima Denzongpa. Surabhi Das, her co-star in the show, has confirmed her death in a media report. According to reports, Bhairavi was very ill for the last several days.

Bhairavi has been seen in the film Dangal with Salman Khan. Apart from this, she was also seen in Salman Khan’s film Chori-Chori Chupke-Chupke. Bhairavi also played the role of Janaki Didi in the 1999 film Taal.
Apart from this, Bhairavi’s daughter Janaki Vaidya has also shared an emotional note on her death. He wrote with a picture of Bhairavi, ‘For me you are my mother, mom, mummy, Choti, Bhairavi. A fearless, colourful, caring, responsible. First an actor, then wife and then mother. A woman who raised her children and enabled them to pursue their dreams without any fear. A woman who has made a name for herself in the TV, film, OTT industry, that too without any compromise. A lady who laughs and smiles with her family. A lady who fought till her last breath. My regards to you.’

Janaki further wrote, ‘I am lucky to have you as my mother. There is so much to say but I am choked. But I would like to say one thing that you left too soon. But yes, you did not want to see yourself like that. May you rest in peace mother. I promise that I will prove to be a good daughter. You take care of yourself, I will do the rest.
