Australia’s Adam Zampa reached a remarkable milestone during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 final against India on Sunday. The leggie matched the long-standing record of spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan for most wickets taken by a spinner in a single edition of the ODI World Cup.

Zampa achieved the feat in the 45^th over of the Indian innings when he bowled a length delivery with scrambled seem to trap Jasprit Bumrah in front. The Aussie leg-spinner managed to pick up just one wicket in his spell which helped him reach a remarkable milestone.
