Musician and singer Adnan Sami recently defended Ranbir Kapoor starrer film 'Animal'. While sharing the post on social media, he wrote – This film has got adult certificate. This clearly means that the people watching the film know the difference between right and wrong. Actually, people believe that this film is giving wrong message to the society. By making this issue, 'Animal' is being criticized.
Adnan Sami further said that the film should be seen on the basis of entertainment. One should not find logic in it. He said- I have not seen 'Animal' yet. But I will always defend a creative artist. Adnan compared Animal with films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Sholay, Deewaar, The Godfather, Scarface. He told that even after showing scenes and crimes without logic in those films, these films are considered classic.

Taking his point further, he said- If you are looking for logic then tell me the logic behind the illogical blood donation shown in 'Amar Akbar Anthony'. In which a mother's three sons donate blood to her at the same time, through the same tube.
Explain the moral shown on the wall or the logic behind 'Thakur' in Sholay beating Gabbar without hands and only with his feet!! What logic is shown in the movie Godfather?… Quentin Tarantino is considered so brilliant that he has made his career out of bloodshed!! We also loved Al Pacino in 'Scarface'!!' In the end he said that watch movies only to be entertained.
5th day earnings of film Animal
Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal has earned Rs 38.25 crore on the 5th day of its release i.e. Tuesday. With this the Indian box office collection of the film has reached Rs 283.74 crore. In terms of worldwide collection, the film is close to joining the Rs 500 crore club.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the overall occupancy of the Hindi version of the film on Tuesday was 42.51%. It is expected that on Wednesday the animal will join the Rs 300 crore club in terms of domestic collection.
