MP Kirori Lal Meena sitting on dharna with RAS candidates.
Every day a new controversy is emerging regarding the competitive examinations in Rajasthan. After REET, now a new case of rigging in RAS main exam has come to the fore. Rajya Sabha MP Dr Kirodi Lal Meena has alleged that the government has changed the syllabus of RAS main exam to benefit private coaching institutes. So that more and more children of the coaching institute can pass the RAS main exam.
Meena alleged that apart from this, BM Sharma and people associated with Rajiv Gandhi Study Circle are running a coaching institute in Jaipur by the name of Target Civil. In order to benefit this institute, the syllabus of RAS main exam has been changed at the last minute. Not only this, this syllabus has been prepared by the people of Rajiv Gandhi Study Circle and BM Sharma. He told that whenever the notification of any examination is issued. So the syllabus is also released along with it. So that syllabus cannot be changed under any circumstances. But to benefit only one coaching, the syllabus of RAS Main exam has been changed. Which is also a violation of the orders of the High Court and the Supreme Court.
Injustice being done to RAS candidates
Meena said that BM Sharma is running coaching despite being the President of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Science. He himself has changed the RAS main exam from 40 to 50 percent to give benefit to the children studying in his coaching. Meena said that the demand of RAS candidates to extend the exam date is justified. Which the government should accept. But only to give benefits to some people, the government is not accepting the demand of the youth. But if the date of RAS exam is also not extended then there will be rigging like reet in RAS exam also.
