The police have registered a case against three attackers in connection with the deadly attack and vandalism on the vehicle of BJP leader Anita Srivastava in Rae Bareli. However, since the incident, the miscreants are still away from the grip of the police. After 13 hours of the incident in the city, the SP reached the spot and investigated. Investigation revealed that the CCTV cameras installed in the District Women’s Hospital were stalled due to power failure at the time of the incident. This could not capture the faces of the miscreants.
On reaching the spot, the SP took cognizance of the matter.
Pulsar bike was attacked by three youths
On Thursday late night, a case of firing on the vehicle of former BJP candidate Anita Srivastava from Sadar came to light. Anita was inside the government hospital when the attack took place. The BJP leader’s vehicle has been damaged in this attack. The BJP leader had accused three youths riding unknown bikes of attack.
The hospital management says that at the time of the incident, the power went out. Due to this the CCTV cameras were switched off for some time. The footage of other CCTV cameras installed on the hospital road is being scrutinised. On the complaint of the BJP leader, a case has been registered for murder, vandalism in the vehicle, threatening life and property.

SP Alok Priyadarshi said that a case has been registered in connection with the deadly attack on BJP leader Anita Srivastava and vandalism in her vehicle. The attackers are being identified through CCTV cameras. A constable has been deployed to protect the BJP leader.
