A cow collided with Vikramshila Express near Kanchosi East crossing on the Delhi-Howrah rail route in Auraiya at around 5 pm on Sunday. The loco pilot applied emergency brakes and stopped the express train at the eastern crossing. Due to which the train stood at the crossing for about 15 minutes. Railway employees checked the engine and sent the train towards the destination.

While leaving Kanchausi railway station, a cow collided with the Vikramshila Express going towards Bhagalpur from Anandvihar terminal near the eastern crossing. As soon as the accident happened, the loco pilot stopped the train at the crossing by applying emergency brake. After this, the entire matter was told to the guard and the operational control room. The station staff arrived in a hurry. When all was well, the guard gave permission to run the train.
