The average temperature of the state is 41°C.
CSA University’s meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said- The average maximum temperature of the state was recorded at 41°C and the minimum temperature was recorded at 30°C. On Monday, 1 mm rain was recorded in Bulandshahr and 2 mm in Kushinagar.

Kanpur night is hottest in 14 years
CSA University meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said – After 14 years, the hottest night was recorded in Kanpur. The minimum temperature recorded in 2011 was 29.5. After that a temperature of 30 degrees was recorded for the first time. Now the nights will become even hotter due to the hide and seek of clouds. There may be a relief of 1-2 degrees in day temperature. There may be rain in the lowland areas of the state.

When is red, orange and yellow alert issued?

According to the Meteorological Department, when the heat wave increases to such an extent that there is a fear of loss of life and property. The temperature crosses 47°C. In that situation a red alert is issued. People are directly told that the weather has reached very bad conditions. Be careful now.

An orange alert is issued when precautions are needed to avoid heat. This means an attempt to alert people in advance through Orange Alert about the severe heat in the coming days. In this alert, people are advised to leave their homes only when necessary. In this the temperature is recorded between 43 to 45 degrees.

yellow alert
The purpose of issuing yellow alert is to alert people. This can be seen as a warning from the Meteorological Department. People are advised that the weather is going to deteriorate in the coming days. This alert is a signal to just watch. The maximum temperature is recorded between 40 to 42 degrees.

green alert
Green alert is issued when the situation is completely normal. There is no risk of any kind. Instead of an alert, this is a comforting message which tells people that relief from the extreme heat has been achieved or is about to be achieved.
