Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Centre’s new agriculture reforms will bring new possibilities for the farmers. PM Modi said that the agriculture sector in the country is more vibrant than ever. “Agriculture reforms would bring new markets and opportunities to farmers, they will gain from technology. This will bring more investment in Agriculture and this will benefit the farmers most, especially the small farmer,” PM Modi said at FICCI AGM. “Today, farmers of India can sell their produce both at the mandis, as well as outside. Farmers can also sell their produce on digital platforms. We’re taking all these initiatives to increase the farmers’ income and make them more prosperous,” Prime Minister Modi said.
