National Law University (NLU), Delhi has decided to conduct the examination on 20 June, changing the date of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). Earlier this examination was to be held on 2 May, but now it has been increased to 20 June. A notification has been issued about this on the NLU official website.
Exam will be held on June 20 instead of May 2
In the issued notification, no information has been given about the change in the exam date. However, it is believed that the exam has been pushed ahead due to the CBSE board examination. The notification said that the All India Law Entrance Test will now be held from 10 to 11.30 am on 20 June. Admission to five-year BALB (Hons), LLM and PhD programs is done through exams. There are 110 AILET based seats for the BA LLB program, while there are 70 seats for the LLM program.
CLAT- 2021 to be held on 13 June
Earlier, the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) also changed the date of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). According to the official notification issued in this regard, now the examination will be held on June 13. Actually, many students of CBSE board exams also appear in CLAT UG exam. CNLU made this decision due to such clats and clashes happening on the board exam date. The CLAT is organized for admission to the five-year Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) program and Masters Degree (LLM) at various national law universities in the country.
