IIT Kanpur officially launched its air sampling device on Monday. Its name is 'Multiple Slit Nozzle-Based High Volume PM 2.5 Impactor Assembly'. Dean of Research and Development, IIT Kanpur, Prof. It has been developed by Tarun Gupta. In 2020, the institute had signed a technology transfer MoU with Airshed Planning Professionals Pvt Ltd with the aim of replacing expensive air samplers. After the same agreement, the work of building it was started.
