Akshay Kumar has announced his upcoming film Sky Force on the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti. The film Sky Force will be based on India’s first and most dangerous air strike, which will be released next year in 2024.

Akshay Kumar announced the film Sky Force on October 2 through his X account (earlier Twitter) and wrote, ‘Today, on the day of Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti, the whole country is saying – Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Science, Jai Research. There couldn’t be a better day than this to announce Sky Force, the amazing story based on India’s first and most dangerous air strike. Please give it love, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.

The video shared with the announcement begins with a speech by Pakistani President Mohammad Ayub Khan during the 1965 war between India and Pakistan. In the speech he is waging war against India saying, ‘The 10 crore people of Pakistan will not rest in peace until the parrots of the enemy are silenced forever. The Indian rulers probably do not know which community they have challenged.

Further in the teaser, Lal Bahadur Shastri’s real speech is shown, in which he replies to the Pakistani President’s speech and says, ‘If someone wants to bend or suppress our country at the point of a sword or by fear of an item bomb, then this country is not going to be suppressed. What can be our response as a government except that we respond to weapons with weapons?

Shooting of the film starts, Sara Ali Khan can be the lead actress

Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur can be seen in lead roles along with Akshay Kumar in the film Sky Force based on Air Strike. The first shooting schedule of this film has started in Lucknow. Akshay Kumar celebrated his birthday on 9th September on the sets of the film itself.

Grandson of former Maharashtra CM Sushil Kumar Shinde will debut in the film

The film marks the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahadia, who is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Sandeep Kewalani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor are going to direct this film, while Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik are jointly producing it.

Apart from the film Sky Force, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the films Mission Raniganj, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Hera Pheri 3, Shankara.
