In an interview given to ABP Manjha, Shreyas's wife Deepti Talpade told that during this period, Akshay Kumar kept taking health updates of Shreyas the whole time. He had also insisted on shifting Shreyas to a better hospital. Deepti also told that filmmaker Ahmed Khan had also come to visit the hospital with his wife on the same night.

Shreyaar and Akshay have worked together in films like 'Joker', 'Housefull 2', 'Entertainment' and 'Aankhe'.

Deepti said, 'When Shreyas was admitted to the hospital, director Ahmed Khan came to the hospital with his wife at 11 pm that night. He was with me. During this time, Akshay Kumar also kept taking Shreyas's health updates the whole time. He also talked about shifting Shreyas to a better hospital.

His call came the next morning also. He said please let me see him just for two minutes. I said you can visit whenever you want. The entire Hindi and Marathi film industry was with us that day.
