Testimony has begun in the suicide case of Mahant Narendra Giri, president of the famous Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad of Prayagraj. May 31 has been given as the date for the testimony. All the accused will appear through video conferencing from jail. Important witness Ravindrapuri was not present.

Video footage was also shown. The case is now being heard before the court room number nine of Additional Sessions Judge Anju Kanojia. Assistant District Government Advocate Bhanu Pratap Singh, Hari Narayan Shukla said that the court expressed displeasure over the non-appearance of witness Ravindrapuri in the court and directed the prosecution to present the witness.
Anand Giri wants to appear himself in court
Anand Giri has been attending the hearing from Chitrakoot jail through video conferencing. Now the accused in this case, Anand Giri, wants the witnesses to record their statements before him. Anand Giri appealed to the court that he wanted to come to the court personally. On this matter, the court said that an application has been submitted by your advocates that due to the threat to life, all the action should be taken through video conferencing only.
Anand Giri said that we will get an application from our advocates that we should be personally presented before the court on the next date.
