Despite his good looks and charm, Liam Neeson has made it clear he is not looking for love at this point in his life.
Liam Neeson recently celebrated his 72nd birthday back in June. Many of his fans have claimed he is ageing like a fine wine. Despite his good looks and charm, Neeson has made it clear he is not looking for love at this point in his life. Before this decision, the renowned actor had dated several A-list actresses, including Barbra Streisand, Helen Mirren and Brooke Shields. Among his relationships, the one that was in the buzz for long was with Natasha Richardson. The two met on Broadway in 1993 and married a year later. Tragically, Richardson passed away in 2009 after a skiing accident, leaving Neeson heartbroken. Following her death, he briefly dated Freya St. Johnston, a UK public relations executive but it lasted for just two years. Now, Neeson seems focused on his career and personal growth rather than getting into a relationship.
In the latest interview with People, the actor was asked if heโs dating or plans to meet someone to which the actor replied, โNo, in a word. Iโm past all that.โ
Liam Neeson previously dated Helen Mirren after they worked together on the film Excalibur in 1981. Their relationship lasted four years and the actor has nice memories of their time together. He recalled a special trip to Southwest France, where they attended a bullfight. He describes the experience as amazing but also feels conflicted because it involves bravery and a tragic ending for the bull. They also spent time camping in the beautiful Loire Valley, where he remembers how Helen cooked meals in an outdoor fire.
Liam Neeson said he is focused on staying busy with his acting career and enjoying time with his sons, Micheal and Daniel. He often spends quality time with them watching movies or TV shows. When speaking about what looks like a perfect day for them, he mentions that he enjoys doing simple activities with his sons. In the past, they would fly fish together, but they havenโt done that in several years.
On the work front, Liam Neeson will appear in the new drama film Absolution, which will be released in theatres on November 1. He will be seen in an upcoming reboot of the Naked Gun franchise.
