An accident happened on the sets of the film 'Hanuman': Director Prashant Verma said – A poisonous snake was about to bite the hero and heroine, Hanuman ji protected them.

South actor Teja Sajja starrer film 'Hanuman' was a huge hit at the box office, leaving behind Mahesh Babu's Guntur Karam. Director Prashant Verma told during a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan that many accidents happened during the shooting of Hanuman. Such accidents in which actors had to face death.

The director credited Lord Hanuman for protecting everyone.

There was an accident with Teja Sajja

When asked whether he felt any supernatural power while making the film. On this, Prashant Verma said that he had felt something even before the pre-production of Hanuman. He claimed that many people came to him and asked him to visit all the temples of Hanuman ji and recite the shloka.

He said- In the beginning, I thought everyone was praising my talent, but one person asked me 'Do you think you are doing all this? No. Only then did I realize that all this was happening automatically. After this I started connecting all the links.

The director of the film was Hanumanji- Prashant Verma.

He said- Although many accidents happened, in which we survived. Both the hero and the heroine could have lost their lives in an accident. Actually there was a snake there during the shooting. If that snake had bitten him, he would have lost his life. But nothing like this happened. We kept shooting there for 10 to 15 minutes and no one knew that the snake was there. We all stopped at our places and Teja did not move. After this the snake slowly went away. We continued shooting. He told- It was a poisonous snake. In Telugu we call it 'Nallatraju' (cobra).

He said- Not just one, many such incidents happened. Where Teja survived every time. Although it is written in the credits that I have directed the film, but I feel that Hanuman ji was the real director of the film.

Prashant Verma's cinematic universe started with this film. The story of the film is set in a fictional place named Anjanadri, where Teja Sajja gets the powers of Hanuman and then fights for Anjanadri. This mythology action-drama depicts the story of a superhero of Kaliyuga.
