Karan Johar, who is facing allegations of grabbing the title of Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Bollywood Wives’, has now come under the target of social media users. Internet users have started signing online petitions on Change.com, to ban their chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Not only this, there is also an appeal to boycott his other TV / web shows and films.
A user shared a link to the online petition, writing, “I have contributed. You know what to do? Sign up Cancil Coffee with Karan ‘Petition.”
Another user wrote, “SSRs please sign petitions and re-tweet as much as possible. Ban ‘Koffee with Karan’. Karan Johar also makes rubbish TV shows and movies.”
One user’s tweet is, “Have you forgotten the face of Sushant Singh Rajput on 14 June 2020?”
Madhur Bhandarkar complains about Karan
Madhur Bhandarkar has complained to Karan Johar at IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association). He has accused Karan of grabbing the title of his film ‘Bollywood Wives’ and modifying it to use on his web reality show ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’.
Madhur wrote in a tweet on Friday tagging Karan Johar and his company Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta, “You demanded me the title of ‘Bollywood Wives’, which I refused. Because my projects But the work is going on. It is morally and theoretically wrong that you used it by doing ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’. Please don’t ruin my project. I humbly appeal to you to change the title. “
