Apurva Promotions: Tara Sutaria, Abhishek Banerjee Spend ‘Energetic Evening’ At IIT Bombay – News18

Tara Sutaria is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Apurva. Her latest destination was the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. The Bollywood actress was also accompanied by one of her Apurva co-stars — Abhishek Banerjee. The duo marked their presence at the prestigious institution on the occasion of IIT’s annual festival Mood Indigo. Directed by Nikhil Bhat, Apurva will premiere on the silver screens on November 15. The trailer of the thriller film rightfully made some noise among the masses, and Tara Sutaria is leaving no stone unturned to promote her film to a wider spectrum of audiences. She dropped a video from the event on Instagram.

Sharing her experience at IIT’s Mood Indigo festival, Tara wrote, “What an energetic, palpable evening with all of you!!!! Here’s to Apurva”. She also tagged Abhishek Banerjee in the post. The video opens with Tara waving to the camera from her car. The clip soon shifts to another scene where Abhishek can be seen doing the same gesture. Upon receiving a warm welcome from the students, Tara greeted them and took the stage. “It feels so special to be here tonight with all of you,” she said before unveiling Apurva’s trailer on the giant screen behind. Abhishek too had a short interaction with the students. Later on, the duo clicked pictures with some of the IITians who seemed excited to meet the celebrities.

For the event, Tara Sutaria was decked up in a black high-neck top that he teamed up with a pair of black shorts. A white blazer added a pop of colour to her chic OOTD. She rounded off her look with sleek hair and an ultra-glam makeover. Abhishek Banerjee on the other hand kept his look simple and arrived at the ceremony dressed in a white shirt and white trousers.

Earlier in a statement, Tara Sutaria revealed that her character Apurva in the film bore a resonance with her. “Apurva, truly reflects who I am in reality. I hope people can see what I genuinely believe in” she said. Teasing us with a summary of what the audience could expect from the film, Tara added, “Apurva — set in one of India’s most dangerous regions, Chambal, is the story of an ordinary girl who faces enormous odds and would go to any length to survive and live”.

Apart from Tara Sutaria and Abhishek Banerjee, Apurva also stars Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Dhairya Karwa, Aashish Dubey, and Madhvendra Jha in important roles.
