Arbitrariness in ration shops in Pilibhit | Arbitrariness in ration shops in Pilibhit: 50 rupees worth detergent being forcibly given, threat of not giving ration if not taken – Pilibhit News

Detergent is being forcibly given in ration shops in Pilibhit.

Along with giving free ration at ration shops in Pilibhit, detergent is being forcibly given as per arbitrariness and arbitrary price is also being charged for this detergent. The supply officer says that detergent cannot be forcibly given. According to the order issued by the government, ration is being given forcibly.

,

Actually, free ration is being given to the common people at ration shops across the district including Barkheda, but along with this ration, detergent powder is being forcibly imposed on the people taking ration. Not only this, arbitrary price is also being charged for this detergent powder. Common people say that when they go to the shops to get ration, they are first forced to buy detergent and only after that ration is given.

Permission is given to sell 40 items
Actually, a GIO was issued by the government a few days ago in which the sale of 40 items was allowed at fair price shops. Along with this, while issuing instructions to the fair price shops in the GIO, it was written that no one would be forced to buy any of the 40 items available at the shop. Along with this, the quality and price of the item should also be reasonable. On the contrary, in most of the ration shops of Pilibhit, salt, tea leaves and detergent powder are being forcibly given to the people. Those who refuse to take these items are not even given ration.

The ration dealer said that the goods came from the supply
In the guise of ration, people are being openly fleeced by citing the GIO of 40 items in the entire district. Not only this, to mislead the common people, the ration dealer even says that all these items have come from supply, whereas these items have nothing to do with supply. One such video has surfaced in which a young man sitting at a coat shop in Ward No. 9 of Barkheda town said in front of the camera that the detergent being given at the shop has come from supply.

The supply officer said that we cannot forcibly give the goods
When information was sought from the supply officer of Pilibhit on the entire matter, the supply officer said that I do not know whose salt it is and where it came from, but according to Jio, 40 items can be sold, but no one can be forced to buy these items. Along with this, all the items included in the list of these 40 items have nothing to do with supply or government warehouse. The ration dealer keeps these items voluntarily and the common people can also take them voluntarily.
