There has been an attack on the railway network in France about 10 hours before the Paris Olympics.

Eurostar company said that they have cancelled many trains. The attack has affected the railway service from London to Paris. In view of the attack, these trains have been diverted. France’s government railway company SNCF has issued a warning for all passengers. They have been advised not to go to the station.

SNCF said that about 8 lakh passengers have been affected due to the attack. They have deployed hundreds of their workers to restore the train system. French Transport Minister Patrice Vergarite has condemned the attack through a post on social media. She said that she is in constant touch with SNCF.

Olympics start in France today
