Attack on Thalapathy Vijay with slippers: Trapped badly in the uncontrollable crowd, had reached the funeral of South actor Vijayakanth.

Well-known South actor and politician Vijaykant has passed away. On December 29, many mourning stars attended his funeral, including actor Thalapathy Vijay. As soon as Vijay came out after paying tribute to Vijayakanth, he was attacked with slippers in the crowd.

A video of Vijaykant's funeral went viral on social media, in which the attack on Vijay with slippers can be clearly seen. In fact, immediately after paying tribute to Vijayakanth, Vijay proceeded towards his car to return. As soon as they reached near the car, the crowd surrounded them. Meanwhile, slippers were thrown towards him from the front.

Vijay remained stuck in the crowd for several minutes

The negligence in Vijay's security can be clearly seen in the video. While moving towards the car, Vijay got stuck badly among the fans. During this time someone was touching his cheeks and someone was pulling his hand. After a lot of struggle and pushing, Vijay could reach the car.

DMDK chief and actor Vijayakanth was ill for the last several days. When his condition became critical, he was admitted to Miyat Hospital in Chennai, where he died on 28 December. There was a wave of mourning in the South Industry after the death of Vijayakanth. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay, Rajinikanth also came to pay tribute to him.
