Australia defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the third T20 on the basis of its bowling. With this, the Kangaroos made a 3-0 clean sweep in the series. Stoinis was named Player of the Match for his unbeaten 61 runs and Spencer Johnson was named Player of the Series for his 8 wickets.

In the match played in Hobart on Monday, Pakistan team was captained by Agha Salman in place of Mohammad Rizwan. In this match, the Pakistani team, batting first, was all out for 117 runs in 18.1 overs. Australia had a target of 118 runs to win and the team won the match by 7 wickets by scoring 118 runs for 3 wickets in 11.2 overs.

Marcus Stoinis’ unbeaten half century

Australia got the target of 118 runs to win. Opener Matthew Short was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi for 2 runs. After this, Jack Fraser was out after scoring 18 runs and captain Josh Inglis was out after scoring 27 runs.

After this, Marcus Stoinis led the team to victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 61 runs with the help of 5 sixes and 5 fours in 27 balls. Tim David also remained unbeaten after scoring 7 runs. Shaheen Afridi, Abbas Afridi and Jahandad Khan took one wicket each for Pakistan.

Australian bowlers bowled brilliantly against Pakistan. Babar Azam played the highest innings of 41 runs for the Pakistan team. Apart from this, Hasibullah Khan scored 24, Shaheen Afridi scored 16 and Irfan Khan scored 10 runs. 7 batsmen could not reach double figures.

For Australia, Aaron Hardy took 3 wickets while Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa took 2 wickets each, while Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis got one wicket each.
