Ayodhya has got 103 new Lekhpals from today. Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta and DM Nitish Kumar distributed appointment letters to 53 Lekhpals in the Collectorate auditorium. Out of these, 79 Lekhpals have joined. CM Yogi appointed 50 Lekhpals of the district in Lucknow.

The faces of the clerks brightened up after receiving the appointment letters.

On this occasion, the MLA and the District Magistrate congratulated and wished the newly selected Lekhpals and motivated them to discharge their responsibilities with full dedication and honesty. The District Magistrate said that the Revenue Department is the backbone of the administration and the Lekhpal is the backbone of the Revenue Department. The Lekhpal and the Gram Panchayat Secretary are the backbone of all beneficiary-oriented schemes. Lekhpals have an important role in all schemes, the work of a Lekhpal is a ground level work, which all Lekhpals should do in a better manner with full dedication and devotion.

DM said that all beneficiary oriented people should have good knowledge of the schemes. For this, read the schemes and be aware of the eligibility conditions/qualifications and application process of each beneficiary oriented scheme. Along with timely disposal of the applications received in various schemes as per rules, give information about the schemes to such eligible persons who have not applied or are not aware of the scheme.

The DM said that people should be benefited from the schemes falling under the eligibility category. By this, you will be able to help the needy i.e. the poor as much as possible, this is the meaning of life. The District Magistrate asked every accountant and employee to make better use of the available resources and to learn from the person/employee/officer who is doing good work. On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Nagar Salil Kumar Patel, Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Rajkumar Pandey, Additional District Information Officer Vinay Kumar Verma, Tehsildar Sohawal Vinod Kumar Chaudhary along with the newly selected accountants were present.
