On Wednesday, the police revealed the murder of Mahant Kanhaiya Das, a Naga sadhu of Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. Ayodhya Kotwali police have arrested two sadhus in this case. The main accused, Shashikant Das, has been picked up from the Mohabra intersection, while his brother Ansh Mishra has been caught near the Ram Prastha Hotel. Kanhaiya Das was murdered in a property dispute. The accused have been sent to jail.
Assassination was planned during shivratri
SSP Shailesh Pandey said that Kanhaiya Das was murdered in the greed of property. Mahant Kanhaiya Das and accused Shashikant Das are Guru Bhai, who wanted to occupy the property of his Guru alone. A property dispute case between the two is also going on in the court. It is alleged that Shashikant Das along with his companions had planned to remove the path of Mahant Kanhaiya Das forever along with his brother Ansh and three others at the time of Shivratri. Involved other people in the murder by greed to give property land and cash. Three days ago, on the night of April 3, Kanhaiya Das was killed when he was sleeping in a gaushala of Charan Paduka temple.
Sections of conspiracy increased in the case
According to the SSP, three other accused involved in the case are still absconding. Whichever police is looking for. Section 120B has been increased in the case registered in the murder section. With the help of surveillance and SWAT team, the arrest of Shashikant Das Golu and Ansh Mishra along with the Innova car used in the murder case and Inte have also been recovered by the police.
