Almost 28 years after the Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992, a special court here will, on Wednesday, decide the fate of some of the big names of the Sangh Parivar accused of criminal conspiracy and “incitement,” which led to the razing of the structure. Besides, unknown kar sevaks are facing trial for demolishing the structure. A high alert has been sounded across the state for Wednesday. While policemen in civil clothes will be on guard in Ayodhya, 2,000 cops will be deployed at the building that houses the “Ayodhya Prakaran Court” in the Old High Court building at Kaiserbagh here. Rapid Action Force personnel have been stationed in 25 sensitive districts.
