Thief entered State Bank of India in Rampur and blew 20 lakh rupees in 3 minutes.
The theft took place in broad daylight in State Bank of India in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. All the bank employees were busy with their work. The cashier had to put the money in the ATM, behind him was 20 lakh rupees kept on the trunk. Then a thief came through the back door, filled that money in the bag and left from there. Let us tell you that two guards were present in the bank on the spot. No one even came to know about this incident. Later, when the matter came to light, the police was not informed from the bank. Later someone else reported the police. The whole matter was caught in the CCTV camera installed in the bank.
The money stolen by throwing dust in the eyes of the cashier
The case is of State Bank of India in Milak region. Where on Thursday the cashier had to deposit 20 lakh rupees in the bank’s ATM. He was doing some work by placing the bundles of money on the box. Then a thief entered through the door behind him. He filled the entire amount in his bag and left from there.
Three guards have been deployed in the bank
The strange thing is that he did all this in just 3 minutes. None of the bank employees even knew about it. The cashier sitting in front was also unaware of all this. There were two guards on duty in the bank. The third guard had gone to another branch of the bank with the bank employees carrying the cash.
On getting information about the theft incident, the police reached the bank and questioned the employees.
Police is checking CCTV footage
When the theft was discovered, there was a stir in the bank. Somebody reported the matter to the police. The police reached the spot and started investigating the incident after talking to the people. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the bank. The police is now examining the footage of the camera. Surprisingly, no information was given to the police from the bank, police said. Nevertheless, a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint received from the bank. The incident happened due to the negligence of the bank employee and the security guard. The police suspect that an employee of the bank itself may have a connection with the thief. The security guard was also not on his duty at that place when the person was stealing money. The matter is being investigated. The incident will be revealed soon.
