A private channel journalist Ratan Singh was shot dead on Monday evening in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Some miscreants carried out the incident about 500 meters away from Lunga police station in Ballia. Ratan Singh went to his village in the evening after staying at the district headquarters Ballia on Monday for the whole day.
