Bar Association elections in Ujjain will be held on 31 March. The State Bar Council postponed last year’s elections due to the Corona epidemic. The Madhya Pradesh State Advocates Council has ordered the formation of a new executive by April 15. Chairman Ashok Yadav said that the bar association will be elected on 31 March. After that the new executive will come into existence. Preparations for the election have started.

Election officer will be announced at the end of February

Chairman Ashok Yadav said that the election officer will be announced by the end of February. The bar currently has registrations of about 2500 advocates. Only registered lawyers will be able to participate in the voting. He said that the number of voters can decrease or increase.

Voting is done for these posts

Ashok Yadav said that in addition to the chairman, voting is done for the secretary, vice president, treasurer, joint secretary, co-secretary and 11 executive members. At present, apart from Chairman Ashok Yadav, Vice President Bhagat Singh Chavda, Ajay Shankar Tiwari, Secretary Prakash Chaubey, Joint Secretary Amit Mishra.
