The deceased Kajal and Komal.
The killing of two minor girls in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, has created a stir. Three girls of the Dalit society went to the farm at 3 pm to take fodder, where they were vandalized. Two girls have died in the incident, while the third is in critical condition.
Komal, Kajal and Roshni, three girls from a Dalit family living in Baburaha village of Pathakpur, had gone to the fodder in the afternoon, but when the relatives did not return from the farm by evening, their relatives began their search. The three girls were tied to the same scarf in the field. The family hurriedly took the trio to Aoha, a community health center, where doctors declared Komal and Kajal to vote, while Roshni’s condition remains critical.
Doctors have referred Roshni to Unnao district hospital. The DM and other officers of the district have reached the district hospital and a large number of police forces are also deployed at the scene. There has been a lot of resentment among the people of the village due to the incident and there is a possibility of untoward incident with the girls. A post-mortem report is awaiting to find out how the girls died.
The brother of the girl who became a victim of vandalism in the farm says that she had no enmity with anyone. The girl used to go to school first, but later she got out of school and she only did farming work.
