In the Izzatnagar police station area of Bareilly district, a case of forced conversion and marriage has come to the fore. The victim alleges that the boy from Pilibhit first got her converted. Later married her and threw her out of the house for not paying seven lakh rupees. In the matter, the police have registered a named report at Izzatnagar police station.
The family members locked themselves in the room and got raped
According to the police, the victim girl told that the accused Afzal is a resident of Bhure Khan’s Mohalla in Pilibhit. He sent a friend request to the girl before her sister Kahkashan’s social media account. After that started chatting. After a long time, he told his truth. After this he called to meet her at a mall in the city. Later, on the pretext of introducing him to his family members, he took her to Pilibhit. The victim alleges that Afzal’s father Azhar, mother Kamar Jahan and sister Kahkashan locked her in a room with Afzal. Afzal raped her and made a video and often threatened to make her viral if she did not marry.
The accused absconded with his uncle
The victim alleges that by threatening the video, he had a relationship with the girl for the first four-five years. Later in 2020, he got married after converting to religion. The girl alleges that Afzal kept her in a rented room at Delapir and then started pressuring her to bring seven lakh rupees from her maternal uncle. When he did not bring her, he beat her up and threw her out of the house. The girl told that Afzal has absconded with his maternal uncle. However, the Izzatnagar police has registered a named report against Afzal’s entire family on the basis of the victim’s complaint. Police is engaged in further investigation.
