Kashmiri students beat up a Bengali student and injured him in AMU. The victim has filed a complaint in the police station.
Once again a case of clash between two groups of students has come to light in Aligarh Muslim University. This time a group of Kashmiri students has beaten up a Bengali student studying in the university. The accused students beat the victim badly, causing serious injuries.

It is being told that this fight took place in protest against the molestation of a Kashmiri student. However, after the incident, the victim student was admitted to JN Medical College in an injured condition, where his treatment is going on. A day after the incident, a complaint was filed against the accused students in the Civil Lines police station on behalf of the victim student.
The victim also suffered many injuries on his body due to the assault.
There was a fight late on Sunday night
Late night on Sunday, September 29, a group of Kashmiri students entered the hostel in North SS Hall of AMU and brutally beat up a Bengali student. After which, on Tuesday, the victim student Mohammad Abdullah gave a complaint to the police demanding registration of a case.
The victim student told that he is a PhD scholar of English Department in AMU. On September 29, Kashmir-based student Aayan Niazi and his companions Shaaban, Yahaan, Harshit alias Mannu and about 15 unidentified students beat him up and badly injured him. He was not conscious for a day and his treatment continued. When his condition improved a little, he filed a complaint.
Police viewed the CCTV of the campus
Kashmiri students beat up a Bengali student in protest against molestation. According to the students of the campus, the Bengali student had been commenting on a Kashmiri student for a long time and was also molesting her. Because of this the Kashmiri students were angry with him.
On the other hand, after the complaint of the victim student, the police is taking action to register a case and after reaching the campus, they also checked the CCTV cameras. Police reviewed footage from the day and before the incident to identify the accused students who attacked the student. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Civil Lines police station in-charge Dinesh Singh said that the matter is being investigated on the basis of the complaint. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
