Protesting farmers visited temple to offer prayers to deity for rollback of agriculture laws by the Modi government. Meanwhile, agitating farmers staged a protest march towards Delhi from Ghazipur-Ghaziabad Border on December 12. ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest has entered day 17 on December 12. They are protesting against 3 new farm laws. Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson, Rakesh Tikait said, ‘With this march we want to give a message to the Govt to listen to our issues.’ On December 9, farmers had rejected government’s proposal. However, govt urged farmer leaders to stop their agitation and resolve issues through dialogue.
