Sonali Phogat, a BJP leader and contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 14’, has been stolen from her house in Hisar. On Tuesday, Haryana Police informed that the jewelery, about 10 lakh rupees cash, a license revolver and other valuables were stolen from Sonali’s house. The police is investigating the matter.

Sukhjit Singh, in-charge of HTM police station Hisar, said, “An investigation has been done on the spot. CCTV footage is being viewed. A case of theft of Rs. 9.75 lakh in cash, jewelery and a revolver has been registered. Investigation of theft case Its being done.”

The theft occurred while Sonali was in Chandigarh
According to reports, the police said that in her complaint, Sonali said that the theft occurred while she was in Chandigarh. On 9 February, she went to Chandigarh with a lock in her house. When she returned home on 15 February, she noticed that the locks in the house were broken. Gold jewelery, silverware, silver pot, Rs 9.75 lakh cash and a license revolver are also missing. The revolver also had 8 bullets. Although the house had CCTV cameras, the thieves also stole a digital video recorder (DVR), which contained the footage.

Sonali Phogat has also questioned the local police administration over the theft incident in her house. Sonali Phogat said, “What will the common people do when the leaders’ houses are not safe. They said that just recently a few days ago there was another theft incident in this locality. The police could not do anything in that case also. The police should understand their responsibilities.
