A Kamala Harris supporter, Billie Eilish shared her thoughts after Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections.
For many women in the United States, Donald Trump’s re-election as the US president has turned out to be a scary prospect. Celebrities are no different, with many voicing their fears and dismay on social media. Billie Eilish, who was one of the most outspoken supporters of Kamala Harris, was seen getting emotional at her concert as she struggled to come to terms with Trump’s victory in the 2024 elections. On November 6, Eilish took the stage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the same day when the election results were announced.
Mid-way through the show, the Lovely singer addressed her Tennessee crowd, breaking down into tears at one point.
“Waking up this morning, I kinda couldn’t fathom doing a show on this day. But.. the longer the day went on I kinda had this feeling of it’s such a privilege I get to do this with you guys and that we have this in a time that…” I just love you so much and I want you to know that you’re safe with me and you’re protected here and you’re safe in this room,” she told her fans.
Following her performance, as she received a heartwarming reaction from fans, Eilish visibly got overwhelmed as she struggled to hold back tears.

Resonating with the singer’s emotions and thoughts, many of her fans took to the comment section and shared similar feelings. A fan wrote, “Billie Eilish is sharing the emotions of millions of women. Stay strong.”

Prior to her concert, the Birds of a Feather singer even took to her Instagram Stories to sum up her thoughts. “It’s a war on women,” she wrote in reference to Trump’s past promises about reproductive rights in the US. Earlier, she endorsed Harris in an Instagram post, urging her fans to vote for the Democratic nominee.
Apart from Billie Eilish, many other celebrities, including Cardi B, Ariana Grande and Jamie Lee Curtis, also expressed dismay.
