The presence of Bird Flu avian influenza virus has been confirmed in seven dead crows that were found at the Jal Mahal lake in Jaipur. Around 252 birds have died of the virus in Rajasthan, so far. Joint teams from the animal husbandry and forest departments have set-up a state-level control room. Samples of the carcasses have been sent for examination to a laboratory in Bhopal.
