On November 13, actor Arjun Rampal appeared for the first time in front of NCB.
Today is Arjun Rampal’s second appearance in a drug case. He has been asked to reach the NCB office by 11 am. Earlier on November 13, NCB questioned him for 7 hours. NCB has summoned him after reports of electronics device seized from Rampal’s house.
On November 13, Arjun Rampal, who came out after questioning, had said that he would cooperate in every investigation of NCB. Earlier, NCB had raided Rampal’s house on 9 November. After this, on 11 and 12 November, his girlfriend Gabriela Demetriades was questioned. The investigating agency has also interrogated Rampal’s driver for several hours in custody.
According to NCB sources, some banned drugs were found from Rampal’s house. However, NCB did not provide any official statement regarding the first inquiry. Apart from this, some mobile phones and laptops were seized from his house. The NCB has also received an Electronic Evidence Report, showing this to question Rampal.
Girlfriend’s brother gets bail
The NCB arrested Gabriella’s brother Agicillas from Lonavala on 19 October. He had charas and alprazolam tablets. Rampal’s house was raided based on the clues found from him. Agicillos was granted bail on Tuesday by the Special Narcotics Court after spending nearly two months in jail. He had charas and the bann tablet alprazolam. He was arrested by the NCB from Lonavla two months ago. The court has released Agasilos on bail of Rs 50,000.
Passport deposited, even the city will not be able to leave
The NDPS court granted conditional bail to Agicillos. Accordingly, his passport will remain with NCB. At the same time, they will not be able to leave the city without being told. After the arrest on 19 October, there were raids in 5 areas of Mumbai after the crucial leads received from Agicillos while in NCB custody.
Gabriella’s brother was associated with marketing while living in India
According to the NCB, Agicillos supplied drugs. The agency had also recovered some evidence for allegedly tracking her supply chain. The 30-year-old Agicillos was also associated with other drug peddlers. Agicillas was produced in court on October 18 under Section 27A of the NDPS Act.
