Bollywood actor and politician Sunny Deol is currently busy promoting his next film ‘Gadar 2’. Meanwhile, he has spoken on the issue of Bollywood being called a drug den.

Giving his reaction on this matter in an interview given to Aaj Tak, Sunny said, ‘It is not rotten Bollywood, it is rotten human beings. And tell me in which field he is not.

Can’t link addiction to profession
Sunny further said, ‘We are glamor people, so people enjoy pointing fingers at us. Can’t link drugs with any profession. It is not the profession that causes intoxication, but the human being, it is not right to blame the profession.

I stayed away from parties my whole life
Earlier, in an interview given to Deccan Chronicle, Sunny had said, ‘I have kept away from alcohol, drugs and parties my whole life. I work out and stay disciplined. For this reason, it helps me to feel and look healthy.

Talking about Gadar 2, this film will be released in theaters on August 11. Apart from Sunny, Manish Wadhwa, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma will also be seen in the film.

Fingers started rising after Sushant’s death
After the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the year 2020, the fans started pointing fingers at the people of the industry. Many people claimed that Sushant used drugs. After this, in October 2022, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in the drugs case.
