In Chatur Niwada of Kanpur Dehat, Shiv Singh was murdered with a sharp weapon by Brajmohan of the village and he absconded. The police arrested the accused within a few hours. The arrested accused Brajmohan told the police that he was fed up of the daily abuses.

On Wednesday, Shiv Singh alias Lalu (38), a resident of Chatur Niwada village of Rasulabad, was lying on a cot outside the house. During this time, Brijmohan (22), a resident of the village, attacked Shiv with a sharp weapon. Hearing Shiv’s voice, brother Tej Singh, who was inside the house, came out and saw that his younger brother was lying dead on the cot, soaked in blood. Seeing Tej Singh, Brijmohan fled from the spot. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot, took the body in their custody and started searching for the accused Brijmohan after interrogating the people around. Within a few hours, the police arrested the accused Brijmohan from Madhu Niwada village of Rasulabad, near the under-construction temple of Talai Wale Baba, along with the Baka (murder weapon) used in the murder.

The accused was troubled by abuses
ASP Rajesh Pandey said that the accused Brajmohan has been arrested. He has confessed to the murder. The murder weapon has also been recovered from him. The accused has told the police during interrogation that he was fed up of the daily abuses and today also the deceased abused him. Due to which he attacked him with a sharp weapon.
