With the demand of reservation, the candidates staged a sit-in on Sunday
In Aligarh, the trainees who came to present their demands before the Basic Education Minister got relief late at night. After protesting for the whole day, the trainees sat on dharna even in the night. After which the ACM and CO went and narrated the message of the minister to the trainees.
The officials told the trainees that the minister would meet them on November 24 in Lucknow. Any five members of the organization will be able to form their own delegation and meet them, after which their problems will be heard and resolved immediately.
The strike of the trainees continued throughout the day
In the 68500 Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018, the BTC Prashushu Sangh had reached Aligarh at 10 am on Sunday with various demands including 5% relaxation in the pass marks for other backward class candidates. Trainees from all over the state had come in buses and trains and staged a sit-in outside Minister Sandeep Singh’s house on Maris Road.
He could not meet the Education Minister even after the protest went on for about three hours and the trainees continued to come. After which the police shifted them to the park located at Ghantaghar. Here their sit-in demonstration continued till late night. The trainees said that they would not go without taking the appointment letter.
Secretary and director will also be present in the meeting
Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh has called the Sangh to Lucknow on 24th November. There will be talks between the two sides at 11 am in Lucknow. 5 people from the organization have been called to attend the meeting.
A delegation of five members of the organization will meet the minister with all the problems and explain the problems. During this, Additional Chief Secretary, Director of Education and Council Secretary will also be present. During this, after listening to the problems of the trainees, they will be resolved. Toofan Singh of the Sangh told that after getting the assurance, all the trainees have been asked to return to their homes.
