The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education today declared the results of class 12 examination, in which the daughter of Sirmaur district topped the state in commerce stream. Vrinda Thakur of Government Senior Secondary School Sarahan secured the first position by scoring 492 i.e. 98.4 per cent marks.
This promising daughter of Arun Kumar, a resident of Rohi village of Ser, Jaman, wants to become a CA in future. Vrinda Thakur gave the credit of her success to her parents, grandparents and teachers. Vrinda Thakur’s mother Kajal is a spokesperson in the education department, while father Arun Thakur is a government contractor. He told that he did his education till 8th from Sainik School Nahan. Studied 10th from DAV Public School Sarahan. Did further studies from Government Senior Secondary School Sarahan.

Revealing the secret of her success, Vrinda said that she kept following ‘Sanjay Sir’. Whatever he continued to teach and guide, he implemented it completely. Apart from school, she used to study for 4 hours a day. The result of that is that today she has stood first in the state. She wants to become a Chartered Accountant in the future, for which she will strive with full dedication and sincerity.
