Rakesh Roshan shared the story of his battle with cancer in an interview. He has told that when he had an abscess under the tongue in 2019, he realized that he had cancer. When he went to the doctor for an examination, the cancer itself came out. He did not lose courage and got treatment and was cured although his weight had reduced to 12 kg at one time due to cancer.

The news of 71-year-old Rakesh Roshan suffering from scams sales carcinoma came in January 2019. This is a throat cancer. The cancer got under control in the first stage and it was removed by surgery. After which Rakesh Roshan is now living a cancer-free life.

1) Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor’s first news of cancer came on 3 October 2018. Brother Randhir Kapoor told that Rishi went to America for treatment in September. He was fighting leukemia, which is a type of blood cancer. His marrow treatment was going on in America. When he returned from New York after 11 months of treatment, he tweeted, ‘came back home’. But in April 2020, his condition worsened and he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. On April 30, at the age of 67, the sage said goodbye to the world.

2) Vinod Khanna

Veteran star Vinod Khanna died at the age of 70 in April last year after a long illness. He was suffering from bladder cancer, due to which he was admitted in the hospital for a long time. His condition had worsened due to illness and a few days before his death, a photo of him went viral in which he looked very thin. Vinod Khanna acted in about 144 films. His films were ‘Mere Apne’, ‘Dayawan’, ‘Mera Gaon Mera Desh’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Qurbani’.

3) Irrfan Khan

Irfan Khan revealed in March 2018 that he had a neuroendocrine tumor. He wrote in his tweet- ‘Sometimes you wake up with a stroke. I suffer from a rare disease. I have never compromised in life. I always fought for my choice and will do the same in future. ‘My family and friends are with me. We are trying to find a better way.

After this, Irfan had a long treatment in London. When the situation improved, Irfan also shot for English Medium between these two years, which was released in March this year. But after this Irfan’s health fell and he died on 29 April.

4) Sonali Bendre

In 2018, Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with high grade metastatic cancer. 44-year-old Sonali left for the US for treatment as soon as she was diagnosed with cancer. He was treated there for about one and a half years. Sonali had told in an interview that when she went to the US for treatment, doctors told her that she had only 30 percent chance of survival as the cancer had reached the fourth stage. But Sonali did not give up and finally returned to India after winning the battle against cancer in December 2019.

5) Tahira Kashyap

Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He had breast cancer which was at stage zero. Tahira, 35, was relieved of cancer after multiple chemotherapy.

6) Ritu Nanda

Ritu Nanda, daughter of the late showman Raj Kapoor and sister of Rishi Kapoor-Randhir Kapoor, died of cancer on January 20, 2020. She was 71 years old. Ritu was the support of the great Amitabh Bachchan. His son Nikhil is married to Big B’s daughter Shweta. Ritu, born in 1948, was active in the life insurance business. She was married to industrialist Rajan Nanda, who died in August 2018.
