In Rajasthan, on February 8, from today, children from class 6th to 8th will be able to go to school. First and second year colleges will also start from today. Schools like Class 9 to 12 students will be allowed to open for students of class 6th to 8th with the condition to fully comply with the Health Protocol including 50% attendance. Similarly, other terms including 50 percent attendance for final year students in colleges will also be applicable for first and second year students.
The results of the CA Foundation and Intermediate examination held in November 2020 will be released today, February 8 or tomorrow, February 9. Students who have appeared in the examinations will be able to check their ICAI CA Inter or CA Foundation Result at the Institute’s exam portal, icaiexam.icai.org or the results portal caresults.icai.org. Earlier, ICAI announced the results of CA Final (Old and New Course) on 1 February.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) December Term-End (TEE) Examination starts from Monday, 8 February. This examination will continue till 13 February. According to the notification issued by the university, 6,90,668 students have registered for this session. At the same time, the university has arranged 837 examination centers, including 104 centers for prison inmates and 19 foreign centers for international candidates. It was also informed in the notification that a total of 6,90,668 students have been issued admit cards. Students who have not yet downloaded the admit card, can download the admit card through IGNOU’s official website ignou.ac.in.

Students studying online for 11 months in Uttar Pradesh are ready to study in class once again. The UP government issued a guideline regarding the reopening of schools up to primary and upper primary. According to the guidelines, teaching work will be started soon in primary schools and upper primary schools. Under this, the schools of Upper Primary (6 to 8) will open on 10 February. The guideline said that 50 per cent students will be present in every class and all children will be given mid-day meal. However, the school canteen will remain closed during this period. Students will be allowed to study in school only after the written permission of the parents. Also Classes Wise Days have been fixed.
The application process for the recruitment of 249 posts of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will end this week. Through this recruitment drive, 249 posts will be recruited including Junior Technical Officer, Assistant Director, Assistant Professor (Forensic Medicine), Assistant Professor (Public Health). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts online through the official website upsconline.nic.in till 11 February.
The application process for the recruitment of a total of 1152 posts of Patwari, Irrigation Booking Clerk and District Magistrate of Punjab Sub-Ordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) will be over soon. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will apply for the recruitment of 241 security guard posts on February 12. For these posts, 10th pass candidates can apply online till the last date. Entrance exam for admission in session 2021-22 in various graduate and post graduate programs of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) across the country will be held on 14 February this week. The institute has issued the candidates admit card for appearing in the examination. Candidates can download the admit card through the admission portal, applyadmission.net/nift2021. The examination to be held for admission in various courses at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, with 17 campuses across the country, will be conducted in offline mode in a total of 32 cities.
Tier-II (Descriptive) Examination of Combined Higher Secondary Level 2019-20 of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be held on 14 February. The Commission has activated the link to check the admit card and application status for the exam. Candidates who have qualified in the Tier-II exam can check their application status through the official website sscner.org.in. Also, you can download the admit card issued on the regional website. Result of descriptive exam can be released in March 2021. Candidates who qualify in the descriptive exam will be eligible to appear in Tier 3 ie Skill Test.
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-2 examination by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will be conducted this week. This examination will include only those students who cleared the NTSE Stage-1 examination. Earlier the exam was to be held on 7 February, but later decided to hold it on 14 February, changing the date from NCERT. Admit cards have already been issued for the exam. Students who appear in the exam can download the admit card through the official website ncert.nic.in.
