In Lalitpur, the advocates remained on strike for the second day under the aegis of the District Bar Association in protest against the filing of an FIR against an advocate by a court employee. During this, the advocates gathered near the main gate outside the court premises demanding withdrawal of the case.

During the demonstration, District Bar Association President Brijendra Singh Yadav said that a Class IV employee of the Family Court has lodged an FIR against Bar Association member and advocate Jayant Kumar Singh. However, this is a one-sided action. The case should be withdrawn immediately. Action should be taken against the Class IV employee.

Meanwhile, General Secretary Mahendra Jain said that the case registered against the advocate should be withdrawn immediately. During the strike, the advocates said that if the FIR is not withdrawn, the advocates will go on an indefinite strike.

During this time, many advocates including District Bar Association members senior advocates Jeevandharlal Jain, Shriprakash Choubey, Omprakash Ghosh, Ashok Kumar Richaria, Shrivallabh Karaulia, Kehar Singh Lakhan Yadav, Jayant Singh were present.
