After this, Kanpur Police Commissioner BP Jogdand has formed an SIT to investigate all the cases related to the bank locker.

Business leader Abhimanyu Gupta said that jewelery worth crores was stolen from Kanpur’s Central Bank by cutting 11 lockers. After investigation, SIT sent 6 including bank manager and locker in-charge to jail. Even after this, the process of breaking the locker did not stop and now the locker of Tilak Nagar resident Suresh Khanna has disappeared. He claims that he had kept jewelery worth Rs.

The jewelery stolen from the locker of Bank of Baroda Kidwai Nagar branch, the victim Ajay Gupta and his wife had gone missing from the locker. At the same time, jewelery theft victim Rajesh Mishra and his wife went missing from the locker in PNB Nirala Nagar. The victims of all three cases along with business leader Abhimanyu came to meet Police Commissioner BP Jogdand. After listening to the victims, the police commissioner has formed an SIT.

Pawan Gupta, patron and senior business leader of Nyay Sangharsh Samiti, said that the business community of Kanpur is suffering due to the continuous incidents. To save the honor of Kanpur, the police will have to take strict action. So that no bank employee could dare to cut the locker again.
