Casting of Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana continues: Sacred Games' Kukku Kubra Seth will play the role of Shurpanakha, film also offered to Lara, Sunny-Bobby

The upcoming mythological film Ramayana, being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari, remains in the news. In the latest reports, quoting sources close to the film, it is being said that Kubbra Seth has been cast in the role of Ravana's sister Shurpanakha in Nitesh Tiwari's film Ramayana. KGF star Yash plays the role of Ravana in the film.

Lara Dutta will become Kaikeyi

According to reports, Lara Dutta is going to play the role of Kaikeyi, the third wife of King Dasharatha in the film. The shooting of the film Ramayana is going to start from March 2024. Lara is going to start shooting in March itself. Nitesh Tiwari believes that the character of Kaikeyi is an important part of Ramayana, so Lara will play that role very well. Lara is also very excited about the film.

Sunny Deol-Bobby also offered film!

After seeing Bobby Deol's excellent performance in the film Animal, the makers offered him the role of Kumbhakarna in the film Ramayana. These days Bobby is busy shooting for the South film Kungwa, so he has asked for 2 months time from Nitish Tiwari. Bobby's team has also told that at present it is not certain that Bobby will be in the film Ramayana.

On the other hand, there is also news that the makers are discussing with Sunny Deol for the role of Hanuman in the film. There are also reports that Ranbir himself wants Sunny Deol to play the role of Hanuman.

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana will be made in 3 parts

Nitesh Tiwari, who has directed excellent films like Chhichhore, Bawal and Dangal, is going to direct the film Ramayana.
