The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 shortly. Candidates who appeared for the CBSE CTET 2023 examination can check the answer keys on the official website at ctet.nic.in. According to reports, the board is likely to unveil the provisional answer keys by the end of September. However, the official date is yet to be confirmed. The CTET 2023 examination took place on August 20 at various examination centres.
The CBSE CTET answer key for 2023 will be provided separately for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The board will upload answer keys for all sets of the CTET question papers for 2023, including Sets A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. Candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against the CTET answer key 2023. The CTET 2023 provisional answer key challenge window will be open for a specific period of time. To raise objections to the CTET June 2023 answer key, candidates will be required to pay a challenging fee of Rs. 1000 per question. After the objection window closes, the final answer key will be prepared based on candidates’ feedback.
CTET Answer Key 2023: How To Download
Here are the steps mentioned for downloading CTET Answer Key 2023:
Step 1: Go to the official CBSE CTET website at www.ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: In the News & Events update section, locate and click on the link labelled ‘Download Answer Key for CTET August 2023.’
Step 3: You will be directed to a login page where you need to provide your Application Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4: Enter the Security PIN (Captcha Code) shown on the screen.
Step 5: After entering the required information, click on the Submit button. This action will display your CBSE CTET Answer Key 2023 on the screen.
Step 6: Download the CTET Answer Key 2023 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 and make sure to take a printout for future reference.
CTET Answer Key 2023: Marking Scheme
Candidates can compute their scores using the CTET Answer Key 2023. In the CTET August Examination 2023, each correct answer is rewarded with one mark, and there is no penalty for incorrect answers. The CTET Marking scheme is explained in the following table. Candidates should adhere to this marking scheme to calculate their scores based on the CBSE CTET Answer Key 2023.
CTET 2023: Minimum Qualifying Marks
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) establishes minimum qualifying marks categorized by the candidate’s group. To achieve success in the CTET Answer Key 2023, candidates must attain a specific minimum mark. These minimum marks are generally consistent across all subjects and are determined solely based on the candidate’s category. For individuals in the General category, a minimum score of 60 per cent in the CTET Exam 2023 is required, while candidates from other categories need only score 55 per cent.
The CTET result will be determined based on this final answer key. In the CTET August examination, an overall attendance rate of 80 per cent was recorded. This time, more than 29 lakh candidates, with 15,01,719 for paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5) and 14,02,184 for paper 2 (for classes 6 to 8), had registered for the exam.
