- CBSE Supplementary Exams Begin Today | 15 Minutes Extra Time To Read The Paper

The supplementary examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE Board are starting today, July 15. The 10th examination will start from July 15 and will run till July 22, 2024. At the same time, supplementary examinations for all subjects of class 12 will be conducted on a single day only on July 15. Apart from this, this time students will be given 15 minutes extra time to read the question papers.

10th supplementary exam will start at 10.30 am
CBSE Board 10th Supplementary exams for most subjects will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. On the other hand, on July 22, the Computer Application and Information Technology exam will run from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. However, students will have to reach the examination center half an hour before. Apart from this, the 12th exam will be held on July 15 at different times for different subjects.
Supplementary examination is also called compartment examination.
Students who fail in one or two subjects can give supplementary exam
Supplementary examination is conducted by CBSE for those students who have got compartment in one or two subjects in the board examination. This year more than 2 lakh children got compartment in CBSE board result. Students can improve their score by appearing in supplementary examination. The board had announced 10th, 12th Board Result 2024 on June 13.

93.60% students passed in class 10th and 87.98% students passed in class 12th
The 10th result was released one hour after the 12th result was released
On June 13, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of class 12th and 10th. This year the passing percentage of class 10th was 93.60%. The pass percentage of class 10th increased by 0.48%. Whereas, this time 87.98% students passed in class 12th. The passing percentage increased by 0.65% compared to last year.
