The Censor Board has made many major changes in the film Animal. Apart from removing intimate scenes from the film, many words have also been changed. CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) and BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) have also given the film an A certificate and 18+ rating. This means that people below 18 years of age will not be able to watch the film. This decision has been taken in view of the violent, gory and sexual content of the film.
If reports are to be believed, CBFC has suggested changes to the intimate scenes to the makers. Intimate scenes between Vijay and Zoya were to be shown in the film for 2 hours 28 minutes. In the film, Ranbir is playing the role of Arjun and Bobby is playing the role of Viraj. In such a situation, it is not yet clear whose role Vijay and Zoya play in the film. The censor board had objections to the boldness of that intimate scene. In such a situation, the board has suggested the makers to shorten the entire scene by deleting the close-up intimate scenes of both of them.
Censor Board had objection to these words of the film
The duration of the film Animal is 203 minutes 29 seconds. The word ‘black’ has been used in this film at 1 minute 31 seconds, which will be changed. Apart from this, it has been suggested to use the word ‘Vastra’ instead of ‘Costume’ in the film. The dialogues ‘Kabhi Nahin’ and ‘Kya Bol Rahe Ho Aap’ coming after 1 minute 56 seconds will also be changed.
At 2 minutes 13 seconds the word ‘drama’ has been said, which will be muted. At one place in the film, there is a suggestion to write the subtitle ‘You change pads four times a month’, although there is no mention in the certificate of what the subtitle of the film was before that.
There will be changes in many dialogues also
There are abusive scenes in many parts of the film Animal. However, the Censor Board has demanded changes in those words also.
After all these changes, the final runtime of the film has become 203 minutes 19 seconds. This film will be released on December 1, which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has earlier made superhit films like Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. Both the films are full of violence. In an interview he had said that the film would become a new benchmark for animal violence. Ranbir Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor are in important roles in the film.
This film has been a topic of discussion ever since its trailer release. Advance booking of the film has started from last Sunday i.e. 26th November. 5 lakh tickets of the film have been sold in just 4 days. While there are still two days left for the release. Prediction is that the film will collect Rs 95 crore worldwide on the first day.
